# Usage

The following steps will show how to run Data Linkstool.

# STEP 1:

Select the items you want to apply data to.

# Note: when running the Data Links, data is only applied to the selection, or if nothing is selected, to everything in the model.

# STEP 2:

Go to Data Links tab in iConstruct menu. Click on the configured button (iConstruct Data in our example).

# STEP 3:

Wait for the process to finish and click OK.

# STEP 4:

Data from Excel spreadsheet is added to a User tab (iConstruct Data).

# Note: The model will need to be saved for the Data Links data brought in from the external source to remain within the model. Updated data can be brought in through re-running the command on relevant objects.

# Quick Overview:

Select items ➤ Go to Data Links tab ➤ Run configured tool ➤ Click OK
