Once you have created your Workpacks, you will be able to action more functions.

Append Properties

STEP 1:

Append the properties of the Workpack directly to the model.

Select the + icon and name the Preset Name.

STEP 3:

Select a Property Tab name, this gives you the ability to crate a new user defined tab in the objects of the model. Select all properties or a few as required. Click OK.

STEP 4:

You will see the selected data fields have been applied on a new editable user tab.

Selection Sets

STEP 1:

Select the Selection Sets icon.

STEP 2:

Click the drop-down box and choose any field to name the folder by.

Press Yes and your Selection Sets folder will be the Property name and the sets names as the value of that field.

Saved Viewpoints

Saved Viewpoints are important as these will be pushed to iConstruct PRO tool View Reports which creates your IWP reports.

There are features in Saved Viewpoints to show just the objects selected, or objects with the model. The Visibility tools will effect how the Save Viewpoints will look as well as the fallback colour on the Colour Code (which can be set with a transparency). When planning your Saved Viewpoint, test with View Reports to see how you want your model to look on the IWP report.

STEP 1:

Select the Saved Viewpoints icon.

STEP 2:

Press the + icon to create a new template.

STEP 3:

Update the Viewpoint settings:

Presets Name: This will name the folder. Column: name of the Saved viewpoints by the selection chosen. Label Text Column: is a labeller and will mark the name of the property on the model. Name Prefix: (first) and suffix (last) will update the name of the Folder created. Override Colors: it will override colours in the model. Isolation Objects: focuses on objects. Section Box: creates a selection box around the objects in the WP. Replace Existing: You can export a template created and import it to another project.

STEP 4:

Press OK and your Saved Viewpoints will be created.
